- 1 cup/240ml/8fl.oz. rice or soy milk
- 2 tbsp Cornstarch

- 1/2 tsp salt or 1 tbsp soy sauce
- Freshly ground Black Pepper

Directions:
In a small bowl, mix ¼ cup of milk with cornstarch until well blended. Set aside. In a
saucepan, heat ¾ cup of milk over medium heat but do not boil. Stir the cornstarch mixture
again, then add to the hot milk mixture in saucepan, stirring constantly, and cook over medium
heat until the sauce thickens. Season to taste with salt/soy sauce and pepper.
Makes 3-4 servings.
