Immune Support Breakfast (V, SF, DF)

This is intended to be used to support the immune system and decrease cholesterol. It is rich in omega 3 oils (if eaten raw), zinc, and natural vitamin E, but it is not designed to be hypoallergenic. Please modify as needed for your personal dietary needs.

  • Rolled Grains (Oats) 4 cups
  • Oat Bran 2 cups
  • Dried Fruit (Red Currants/Raisins) ½ cup
  • Sunflower Seeds (can be ground) 1 cup
  • Raw, unsalted nuts (Almonds) 1 cup
  • Lecithin Granules 1 cup
  • Flax seeds (need to grind) 1 cup
  • Silybum (Milk Thistle) Seeds need to grind
    or Wheat Germ 1 cup

Preparation: Grind ingredients as needed, mix, then keep in refrigerator.

Directions:
Soak ½ to ¾ cup for at least 30 minutes (overnight is Ok); you can use organic low-fat milk, soy milk, nut milk, or water. Then or stir in some tofu (soy).

Optional: May add 1 tsp honey or maple syrup if allowed.
Optional: May add add ¼ cup of non-fat organic yogurt (cow or goat) in place of tofu. Yummy.
